Mothers Day is here and my mom is far away. I've used 1800 flowers before but I think their prices are kind of high. Does anyone know who's got the best deal?

Find a local florist that has a website. FTD, Teleflora and 1800Flowers will charge you a "service" charge just to take your order. That extra charge can be as much as 14.00 and does not go towards your order.
Proflowers ships arrangments in a box, with the vase and flowers separate. Your recipient will have to "arrange" their flowers, add water to the vase, and then enjoy them. It is sort of an expensive DIY kit.
